With Backlash, WWE has kicked off its Premium Live Event (PLE) calendar for the remainder of 2025. This build-up will culminate in significant events such as SummerSlam And at Survivor Series, yet the journey towards the year's conclusion is filled with major events happening worldwide.
Since its acquisition by Endeavor, WWE has significantly broadened the reach of its high-profile live events across the globe. Whether it's in Paris, Perth, or Berlin, the organization has brought large-scale productions to regions where experiencing WWE at such magnitude was uncommon before. This expansion isn’t merely for providing audiences worldwide with access to live matches; rather, it aims to transform WWE into an authentic global force, conquering key markets one after another.
The WWE pay-per-view lineup following Backlash 2025
In the latter part of 2025, WWE plans to host five premium live events. The series kicks off with "Money in the Bank," broadcasted from the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California—a location notable as the site where the inaugural show of Raw aired on Netflix earlier this year. Following that, in August, WWE moves to New Jersey for the debut two-part event called "SummerSlam." This marks the first instance when a non-"WrestleMania" pay-per-view special extends across several nights. By expanding the schedule, WWE can showcase additional talent and contests, potentially setting records as they aim for one of their most financially successful "Summer Slam" editions ever.
WWE plans to keep expanding globally with various high-profile international events. The series begins with "Clash" taking place in Paris on August 31, streamed live from La Défense Arena in Paris, France. In yet another inaugural move, "Crown Jewel" will break new ground by being hosted outside of Saudi Arabia for the first time, set to occur in Perth, Western Australia, on October 11.
To conclude 2025, WWE will present the Survivor Series as a stadium spectacle. The venue chosen for this event is Petco Park in San Diego, California.
This also doesn’t include the NXT schedule, which, for now, only has two events set for the remainder of the year, though that’s likely to change. The same goes for any additional events WWE may add, including a potential return of Evolution .
The card is, of course, subject to change, but as of Backlash, here’s the full WWE premium live event schedule for the rest of 2025:
