These missions aim to foster the sharing of knowledge and enhance skill sets.
Singapore’s National University Hospital (NUH) has entered into an agreement with the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Children’s Heart Hospital Fiji (SSSSCHF) to assist in yearly pediatric heart surgery initiatives at SSSSCHF.
Beyond providing clinical services, these missions aim to foster knowledge sharing, skill enhancement, and joint research initiatives between the two organizations.
Furthermore, NUH and the National University Heart Centre, Singapore (NUHCS), will host medical personnel from SSSSCHF for brief training sessions and observational placements.
"The knowledge and skills obtained through this multidisciplinary team’s mission can be leveraged to enhance our program for treating congenital heart diseases," stated Laszlo Kiraly, who leads as both the Head and Senior Consultant at the Department of CTVS within NUHCS.
